| Boating Safely Courses: |

Flotilla 42 offers boating safely courses to those who want or need an Boating Safety Education Certificate.
The course is spread over two nights Tuesdays and Thursdays in most cases and lasts four hours each night with the closed book test on the last night. Location of our classes is in Delaware County. PA

Persons born after January 1, 1982 may NOT operate a boat of 26HP or more unless they have obtained and have in possession a Boating Safety Education Certificate.
All PWC operators must obtain and have in possession a Boating Safety Education Certificate.

About the course: |
 |
You will receive a Boating Safety Study guide on the first night. You will go over the study guide in class on both nights. When you pass the test, you will receive an Certificate of Accomplishment from the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary on the spot with your name on it as well as the paper work needed to send to the state confirming that you have in fact passed the test. The state will then send you your Boating Safety Education Certificate that you will carrie on you at all times when operating A PWC or other required vessel. |
